For those who dont know.. Aerating your wine in the United States is an absolute must!Quick sidebar: Wine, especially American wine contains sulfites and ethanol. These have to be evaporated off before drinking the wine. I know way too many people that live by the "I like wine but it always gives me a bad headache/hangover the next day" lol. Most people think decanting or letting wine "breath" just helps with flavor. It does, but most importantly it makes it "safe" to drink and prevents that next day ick feeling lol.All that said your options are generally to leave wine 10 minutes in the glass, or 30 minutes in an open bottle..... or... you can aerate. Aeration cuts the time way down. (keep in mind the older, or higher alcohol content the more time).Back to the product its self. The entire thing is made of premium materials, and the aeration funnel mechanism is down right brilliant. 

I bought one for myself on the 6th.My relative is a wine aficionado and she was beyond impressed. The decanter aereates AS you fill it and the alpine-inspired detent in the base continues to do so; it ALSO serves as a handle to elegantly serve wine.Both she and I like the industrial " Beaker " shape, and it looks great even empty on a counter!
